Barclays Reiterates a Hold Rating on Container Store Group

In a report released today, Matthew McClintock from Barclays reiterated a Hold rating on Container Store Group (NYSE: TCS), with a price target of $5. The company’s shares opened today at $5.10, close to its 52-week low of $3.77.

McClintock commented:

“We are maintaining our 2016 and 2017 FY EPS estimates of $0.25 and $0.30, respectively. Revenue increased 0.3% to $205.1 million: Top-line growth was driven by two new store openings, while comp stores sales declined (4.2)% despite a ~200 bps contribution from TCS Closets. Retail store sales increased 0.9% to $189.1 million, while Elfa third party sales decreased (6.0)% to $16 million due to FX and a slowdown in the Nordic and Russian markets.”
