“TRMB hosted an analyst day at its biennial Dimensions conference. The company highlighted its strong backbone of data collection, cleaning, transfer, and analytics which it should be able to apply in numerous end markets. Management identified Rail, Forestry, Water & Electric, and Field Service Management as incremental growth opportunities. We believe TRMB will follow a strategy of establishing a trusted brand as a beachhead in new verticals and then incrementally growing sales. In its current markets, we see 2.5M new endpoints needed in transportation & logistics by 2019 aided by ELD mandates fueling growth.”
