Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Joseph Foresi maintained a Buy rating on Exponent (NASDAQ: EXPO) today and set a price target of $75. The company’s shares opened today at $66.70, close to its 52-week high of $68.30.

Foresi noted:

“Proactive vs. reactive. Historically, Exponent did failure analysis for firms, government entities and other organizations when problems arose, generally regarding accidents and safety, when companies needed expertise for litigation. EXPO considers this “reactive” work. Exponent recently began to do “proactive” work, taking what it has learned from failures and applying that knowledge to prevention.”
