Ahmad noted:

“We are raising our Rev/EPS estimates for CY17 from $6.89bn/$7.90 to $7.26bn/$8.59; Street was at $6.56bn/$7.20. We continue to believe that like other major Semicap companies LRCX will be able to grow revenues at >5% CAGR through 2020, and grow earnings at faster rate due to margin leverage. We also think that there is greater sustainability to 3D NAND spending than most investors realize, and estimate average NAND WFE at $11 bn/yr for 2016-2020, as SSD’s only represent 10% of growing storage market. We maintain Outperform rating and raise the TP to $119 (from $111). Positives: (i) Buybacks are faster. $1bn over next 12 months vs. CS preview at $1.5bn over next 3 years (ii) Portion of revenues directly affected by EUV is small as Litho- Etch-Litho-Etch is less than 10% of revenues (iii) MarQ upside. MarQ EPS could upside to ~$2.47 vs. Street at ~$1.99.”
